Currently if you do parity warp sync with no ancient blocks it should be under 30 GB, but the size keeps growing so it’s hard to say how long it will last. Note that this is less secure since you do not validate blocks from genesis.

If you are looking to do simple transactions, you should consider running a light node instead.
